santo patrono de la hacienda
The name San Antonio Hool refers to Saint Anthony of Padua (Patron Saint of marriages and the Spirit of prophecy).
The name "Hool" of the hacienda is of Mayan origin and means hole or depression in the land. This term was commonly used by pre-Hispanic Maya to name a place based on a natural feature or mark. However, it can also be translated as door or access.

"I HAVE A PIECE OF LAND,
VERY FAR FROM HERE, VERY FAR.
THERE WHERE I OPENED MY EYES,
AND LEFT MY THOUGHTS.
IT IS A PIECE OF WOODLAND
WITH A RUIN IN THE CENTER,
AND A FEW COTTAGES
OF FORTUNATE FARMERS.
FROM THERE, YOU CAN SEE THE CITY TOWERS,
AND THE ECHOES OF THE RESOUNDING BELLS
FROM THE TEMPLES CAN BE HEARD.”
